Weekends round the corner again... Yeah!

When it comes to my thought about weekends round the corner, I get so enthusiastic about it. That’s the only time I get to spend QUALITY time with my loved ones @ home. So what’s ahead for us this weekend?

Friday evening after work, I got to rush off to meet @ JP to do my weekly groceries marketing. Of coz making sure Jerry tags along, as I enjoy the moments when he nods his head vigorously if asked whether he want that particular item (e.g. baby yogurt, koko-crunch, etc.). It’s such a funny act.

Over to Saturday early morning… Sad & disappointed, Dear is up with his trip to KL again with his bunch of cars fanatic buddies. *I just see no gain in going on such trips to KL. Why insist in that? Anyway, ...*

With that, he won’t be able to make it for the appointment. This is a very important appointment for us that I have been looking forward to it so much. Hopefully all is well and wonders set in for us. It will be an invitation for adults @ home, so our little boys will be home-grounded. The venue for the appointment may not just be really suitable for them to ‘explore’ around. Of coz, we can then better focus and get our queries without having to worry @ back of our mind about what the boys are doing @ the premises. OMG… that can really be a BIG headache…

I am expecting to help out my mum’s friend in an event late noon on Saturday. Thereafter if time permits, I will be bringing Jerry to T3 again! Yes, with Xiaomei & Jordan. That’s as planned with Xiaomei early this week.

Sunday… As planned, Dear & myself are going to Vivo with Jerry. I was assigned by Dear to get birthday gift for following Saturday (14Feb), as that’s Adeline’s daughter’s birthday celebration @ Changi Safra (if I am not wrong about the venue).
*Dear really understand my strengths by assigning such task to me, as it’s about Shopping! I am getting excited, even if it’s merely getting a simple birthday gift for a 5-year old gal. As I am a ‘good planner’, of coz I planned to get Jerry a gift too. The reason is ‘Getting a gift for my little loved one’ for Valentines’ Day.
We got to get a replacement of our SCV unit controller as it is not working. Hopefully no cost to be incurred with that replacement. For this task, I have assigned Dear to do this coz it’s so Technical about that controller thing.

All the Plans Plans thingy… Really well-planned ya? Hahaa…

My weekend is packed again. So be it. There goes my plan for a reckee trip to Julia Gabriel school @ Evans Road… When is this supposed to be scheduled? Hmm…

Happy Lunar New Year to all! So much of the norm greetings, keeping it simple with just hoping for Happiness & Great Health to all my loved ones and of coz, to you whom have been with me here…

Happiness & Great Health are the two most crucial essentials for one in life, as I feel that nothing beats these two. Along as year 2009 arrives, I have been searching high and low to sum up my wish list, new year resolution, etc. Somehow, having only to conclude with these two though with the tons of others down the norm list that ran in my mind.

For a good 2009 start, it went off well after embarking my new journey with a total new change, though still in same specialization. In order to upkeep with the market niche, servicing industries are not just focusing on QUALITY, somehow with consideration on Customer Satisfaction. This is the area whereby I need to further enhance on my occupational expertise, not just what servicing industries are focusing on nowadays. So it’s about Customer Satisfaction… How do I enhance my experience in terms of this aspect then??? Anyway, KIV as it’s really boring for you to go thru all these job-related issues via my personal space. Prior to moving on, just to share… I have great enthusiasm with looking forward to the many great challenges I foresee in my new journey. I look forward so much to it every other day.
*Please do not think that I have gone berserk. Just that my main goal for year 2009 is to UPz my financial capability to fulfill my mini dream earlier than expected, so I got to change my mindset and get devoted in order to achieve my goal. Needless to say, I enjoy the process without complaints. Yes, as of now…*

Talking about UPz on my financial capability, I took up part-time and help out my little boss, BeBe. Last quarter of 2008, she comes to me with initiative to set up her personalized on-line shopping for ladies. Tie up with her busy studies schedule, I try to grab some personal time of mine to help her out. Yes, I have been supportive about this idea and I see it as a good start!
Hey you, No worries there… Shall share once things are done up and ready to Go!

Having said that, now's about my little precious, Jerry. Though real tie-up with all the new commitments, I still try my very best to spare out some QUALITY time for Jerry. His growth & development, in terms of the new stuff/skills that cross his little brainy, are the moments that struck irresistable & loving SMILES to both Dear and myself.
Do you know? To certain extent whereby both of us can just sit by our bed and enjoy looking @ him quietly with his peaceful sleeping moments as he falls asleep in our cozy bed in the late nights with only dimmed bedroom light on, and for no reason that these moments can bring silly SMILES on both of our faces.
So, that’s about how I end my day beautifully. Having to enjoy and share beautiful moments with my most beloved ones before ending the day in dreamland is the best gift that I get daily. I am just contented with all these…

14Jan09... BKK tRip???

Almost to mid month… January 2009, isn’t it really fast as the time flies? I have been trying to accept the fact that hours are just rushing by especially nowadays with my recent new commitments. So… 24hrs a day ain’t enough for me…

Looking forward to my BKK trip… It’s just tomorrow. Yeah!!!

Having to have Jerry to be taken care by my MIL and Dear got to stay around with Jerry in order to cope with situation of separation and/or stranger anxiety. Guessed that we just got to be on the safe side for Jerry to cope better with my absence. Dear has been repeatedly assuring that Jerry will be fine under his and my MIL’s care. I was like… coping up with the tons and tons of worries that built up as the trip is getting nearer.

That’s me… I am such a contradicting woman. Though looking forward to the trip with excitement, but yet having tons and tons of worries regards to care for Jerry during my absence. What to do???

This evening, we are bringing Jerry over and to so called ‘conduct induction’ for my MIL in order for her to better manage and cope with Jerry’s daily routine activities. Being a strict ‘Go-By-Book’ mummy, I have been faithfully noting Jerry’s daily routine in an organizer since day1. Yes, be it myself or my helper. Needless to say during my absence, I got to try get my MIL to follow whatever I plan in terms of daily routine. Anyway, I can’t do much except to ensure whatever needs to be brought across be simple and clear to avoid any confusion. All I can do is to hope that Jerry is getting along fine with the ‘just 3-4 days holidays’ @ Ah-Gong & Ah-Mah’s place.

Yes, it slips off my mind. I have yet the time to plan out the itinerary of this BKK trip. Normally by this time, I should have got a nicely drafted itinerary planned prior going on the trip. However, this year is so… I have been so busy. Just to share… I am hoping that there isn’t any hiccup with hotel reservations as confirmation yet finalized as of now!!! Oh Mine!!!
*My guests on this trip… Please don’t knock on my head if you ever come to realize this @ this point of time. I don’t mean it. I will do my part with the whatever left-over hours on an itinerary prior to hopping on the trip tomorrow evening.’

Not a very fantastic time spent over the weekend. Though well planned with activities, it’s either changes here or disappointments there.

Firstly, my plan to bring Jerry on his favourite shopping trolley buggy ride was ruined as NTUC Xtra has discontinued the service. They no longer have these buggy rides available. So… we are suspecting if these rides are ‘stolen’ and/or are conveniently ‘driven’ home by others. These rides do not require any cash commitment as the rides are just on the self-help first-come-first FREE basis. With this, we miss the ride and went ahead with our groceries shopping.

Exceptionally, I had a fulfilling time spent on Saturday noon. Yes, in terms of after done with my help-out @ the 50plus.Singapore event in Suntec. Xiaomei tagged along as she need to do some shopping @ City Hall. Thereafter, we ‘scan’ thru the boutiques in swift mode due to time constraints having to rush home to join the rest for dinner. Bought shades, pair of heels, clothes, etc. That gives great sense of satisfaction in having these grabs.
*Great sense of satisfaction… Isn’t it familiar among WOMAN??? Face it! Accept it! Simply Woman. Yeah!*

It was a lazy Sunday morning. Of coz, I appreciated Dear’s effort in waking up early to bring Jerry out for breakfast date.
Jerry : ‘Most of the time, breakfast dates are with Gong-Gong & Por-Por as Daddy is in dreamland having to turn in real late the previous night.’

As visit to MIL’s place is cancelled, hence I postponed the reckee trip to Julia Gabriel school. Next time round then... Say, after CNY.

Went out for breakfast with all @ home. This time round, Dear got a buggy ride for Jerry to compensate with the disappointment on Saturday morning. However, Jerry’s attention & interest on the ride is merely 25minutes or so. Almost halved of his 1st trial that lasted a full hour. Perhaps, I may need to re-consider should he want the ride during our next visit to IMM. Hmm…

Xiaomei had the ingredients for baking cupcakes all readily prepared for a baking session this Sunday noon. Hence, we go ahead. As I lazed around, not in much help in this baking session, but I still contributed slight effort in beating the ingredients with a beater. And of coz, that amount of effort requires some amount of energy & muscles. Anyway, it was Fun though I surrendered to dreamland after the 1st trial. I was just too exhausted.

Ahead with a great week… Also, looking forward to BKK trip!

09Jan09... Plan aHead??

Having to more or less settled down @ work, I have also completed all the e-learning courses that are ‘encouraged’ to be completed within a week though time allowance for completion given by HR is 3months. Phew! All the e-learning stuff is really dry and I was almost drowning myself with water and snacks to keep me awake thru that process.
*No fear for any weight gain with all these junk down. No one can help me coz I simply can’t resist. Anyway, they are the ones who helped me to remain awake thru my ‘tough’ time. Haha…*

I got this feeling of guilt for not having quality time with Jerry, so I have dated Dear and get him to clear the weekends with any appointments especially in the mornings in order to bring Jerry out for dates.

Planned breakfast date out, and of course catch up with our usual marketing @ NTUC on Saturday morning. Jerry loves the shopping trolley buggy ride, hence I planned to bring him to NTUC Xtra @ Jurong Point.

I have to attend an event @ Suntec which is the 50plus Singapore event mainly for the elderly. Going over to help out in an event in the noon.

Planned to bring Jerry to reckee Weekend Playclub programme @ Julia Gabriel when he turns 18mths this March. That’s gonna be on Sunday morning after our breakfast date.

That’s the plan for my weekend ahead.

24hRs jUz iNsUfFiciEnt...

As I embarked on my new journey, I became a super duper busy woman. Things have changed... With this, I just think that 24hours a day for me is somehow insufficient. Perhaps more hours for me in order for quality time to be spent with luv ones.

I came to realise that my baby, Jerry, seems to be ignoring me when he sees me back home in the late evenings... For past evenings ever since the 1st day... OMG... Sounds so sad... That makes me feel awful. Needless to say so much, I will try my best to devote most of my FREE time to him.

So to speak... No more free time to laze, blog, dream, etc. However, updates of us are via my facebook account. I guess thatz a much simpler way to share with my friends. Blogging simply requires much more time & effort than that. Though, I still hope I can sneak some time to blog. Coz I luv to share stories...

Time to go to dreamland...

02Jan09... nEw jOurNey!!!

Today marks a special day for me as I embarked on my new journey after years thru S******. Having to be able to move on finally, I have been so much looking forward to it though was staying @ home for almost whole of Dec08.

The feeling of staying @ home with my little one gives me such WOW! feeling. Nothing defeats such. However, time flies especially when you are so engaged in your own favourite activities. That’s the fact that I accepted though enjoying the WOW! feeling @ home

It was a good start as I started my journey early this morning. Went thru the usual norm introduction & induction by HR, having then to be ‘passed on’ over to my so-called Direct Boss. Had a simple & healthy lunch @ a steamboat restaurant off @ China Square. Oopss… Is it China Square? I am just so lousy in terms of street directions and of course that explains the scolding & naggings I got when I gave the wrong directions. Anyway…
Thereafter back in the office after a ‘Healthier Choice’ steamboat lunch, my brain almost went dead after an approx. 4 hours of intensive introduction & induction by my Direct Boss. Though, it was a very fulfilling session for me having to cope with better grasp of what is expected in this new journey with the many challenges ahead.

End of the day… Rushing off to MRT station…

Once again, I boarded the ‘forever full of crowd’ MRT ride home. I was so wrong in my assumption that the station was reflected by the newly in-place feature via MRT rides. To my dismay, it’s only available in new MRT rides. The norm old rides don’t have such enhanced feature. That’s the reason why I complained and nagged about it to Xiaomei.

Feeling of reaching home is really so relaxed. Mum & Xiaomei, along with the little boys came to fetch me @ the MRT/Interchange in order to save me from the shuttle bus service back home. The shuttle bus service back home is such a killing one that I have not got on such service for tons of ages, and most of the time I will prefer the ‘Flag & $3.20’ cabby service on the road.
… Jerry seems to ignore me when he first saw me as I hop in the car-ride. I can feel that he is feeling unhappy for me having to be out the whole day. I miss Baby Jerry so much during the day, though my mind was fully occupied with the injecting of info. during the intro & induction sessions in the day. I spent rest of the evening talking & playing with him. And there, he turned in less than two hours. So to speak, that very two hours are the most precious hours for me today.

My recent trip back home via the MRT makes me realised that I am such a 'mountain tortoise'. When has this feature been available in MRT train???

To me, it's a new feature as I juz happened to realise it during my MRT ride home.

There is this indicator via the MRT route, indicating the status of the MRT ride. As I always have problem remembering the current station of the MRT ride, hence stretching my neck to peep on the signboard via approaching train station. I hate it... It makes me looks so silly, especially when my stiff neck gives me problem...

This is an enhanced feature as it allows me to tell the current station the MRT ride is @ juz within the cabin. So much easier for me... Yeah!!!

No joke... this pork broth requires two days of boiling to get such yummy yummy taste. Looks tasty???

It's a so-called 'double happiness' day today.

ROM Anni & Jerry turns 15mths old today.

Arranged with Xiaomei & 4 other mummies, all of us attended a trial class @ Baby Jumper Gym. It was not as gd as I expected. Hmm... kinda disappointing is for all I can say. Haiz... After so much trial classes here & there, I still prefer Little Neuro Tree ('Trio').

Took a nap after back from the trial class, thereafter headed for T3 with Dad, Mum, Bebe, Xunwu, and two little boys, Jerry & Jordan. Finally got the chance to be in T3 ever since its opening. With the X'mas deco, it further brightens up my day though I was not feeling very gd in mood.

Yes, so itz juz another 'nothing special' & normal day!

Anyway, I have indeed felt better after baking Walnut Choco Chip cookies. Juz done with the baking. Yes, @ this hour. So itz 21.12.2008 now... Hmm... Looking forward to a better day in early morning...

Andy Lau's Concert on 12Dec... ever 1st concert I attended. Hmm...
Due to peer pressure & influence, I became a CRAZY 'fan' and screamed along like a mad woman. Sounds crazy, but it was fun though. I enjoyed the concert, juz as much as my screaming too.
